Norine Walmsley

On May 31, 2011 Norine F. Walmsley (nee Doerr), 49, passed away at the University of Pittsburgh after an on going illness. Norine was born in Baltimore, MD on November 10, 1961 to the late Norbert and Delores Doerr. She was a resident of Cumberland for 15 years and enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with her daughters, reading, writing short stories, and Stephen King. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, H.R. Walmsley; three daughters, Amanda, Arielle, and Mariah Walmsley; four sisters, Donna Thomas, Sharon Dingus, Bonnie Blyth, and Bridget Doerr; parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Heru Walmsley; two sister-in-laws, Melinda Gretsinger and Mary Rash; and four brother-in-laws, William Walmsley, Keith Walmsley, Neil Walmsley, and William Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
