Norma M. Chapman, 82, passed away on December 14, 2022 at Harbor Hospital. She was born in Baltimore to the late Norman and Margaret Reddish. She enjoyed playing slots, sport betting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, scratch offs, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon, boating, fishing and spending time out on the Chesapeake Bay, her favorite place to be. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald Walker Chapman; granddaughter, Amy Johns; and her son, Donald W. Chapman Jr.
Norma is survived by her devoted children, Doug Chapman, Sandy Johns (Frank), Steve Chapman (Nancy), Bruce Chapman (Lorraine) and Marlene Wellein (Dave); loving grandchildren, Amanda Snyder (Brian), Doug Chapman, Billy Nemec (Paula), Brian Johns, Frankie Johns, Steven Chapman Jr. (Nikki), Christina Chapman (Charlie), Joey Chapman, Nicholas Chapman, Kelly Chapman, Justin Wellein (Lindsay), Kevin Wellein (Katie) and Ryan Wellein; and 14 cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, Dec. 20th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
