Norma L. Culp, 80, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on April 7, 2021. She was born in Bayard, West Virginia to the late Frank and Elsie Weasenforth. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, making Christmas ornaments, baking and traveling to the mountains. She was also an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts and took great pride in organizing her family reunions for the past 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by many siblings.
Norma is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Arthur “Bud” Culp; loving daughter, Janet Tyson Culp; and her cherished grandson, Charlie Tyson. She will also be missed by many loving extended family and friends.
The Culp family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, April 12th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. There will also be a second visitation at Newman Funeral Home, PA, 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550 on Thursday, April 15th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org or Shriner’s Hospital by visiting donate.lovetotherescue.org
