Norman Clark Jr

July 31, 1932 — December 10, 2014

Norman W. Clark, Jr., 82, of Severn, passed away on December 10, 2014 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 31, 1932 to the late M. Lillian and Norman W. Clark, Sr. He served in the United States Army for two years, just after the Korean War where he was stationed. Norman was employed with the post office at Fort Meade and retired after 43 years of dedicated service. He was currently working part time as a driver for the past 10 years at Morningside Assisted Living. Norman was a longtime member of Severn United Methodist Church and a regular attendee of First Baptist Church of Crofton. He was also a member of the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge. Norman enjoyed working outside, especially with his tractor, maintaining the family properties, travelling to Ocean City every summer and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Betty; two sons, Wesley Clark and his wife Mary and Jay Clark and his wife Sherrie; grandson, Brandon Clark; and sister, Katherine Harman and her husband John. Norman is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
