Norris Beard, Sr

On November 28, 2008, Norris W. Beard, Sr. of Delaware, formerly of Severn; beloved husband of Barbara J. Beard; loving father of Norris (Bill) Beard, Jr., Christopher, Kevin and Glenn Beard; dear father-in-law of Brenda, Maura and Carolee Beard; cherished grandfather of eight and one on the way; devoted great-grandfather of one. Norris was born in Washington, D.C. in 1935. He graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, D.C. in May of 1953. He was a member of the United States Navy from June of 1957 to June of 1959. He worked for the N.S.A. for many years and retired in 1990. Norris was a former member of the Glen Burnie Elks Club and a current member of the Seaford Elks #2458. He liked both cars and trains. He also liked to spend time with his grandchildren.
