Mrs. Scherer was born on August 14, 1914 in West Virginia to Mr. James Meadows and Molley Meadows (nee Jones) She was married to the late Walter Scherer. She leaves behind her son Donald Scherer and his wife Patricia; her granddaughter Monica Scherer and her husband Nick Petrinko and her grandson Donald Scherer,II. She also leaves behind her two great grandsons "Captian" Cole Petrinko and "Dr. G" Gavin Petrinko and many Meadows family relatives from west Virginia
