Patricia J. Mathews, 85, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 12, 2013 at her home. Patricia was born on February 14, 1928 in Baltimore, MD and she worked as a librarian for Monsegnior Slade school and also at the front desk at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Bingo, cutting coupons, country music, and watching westerns. Patricia was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 56 years, James A. Mathews, her beloved son, M. Timothy Mathews and her sister Gloria Ryer. She is survived by her two loving children, James P. Mathews and his wife Deborah, and Patricia A. Hartzell and her husband James; her dear daughter-in-law, Lisa Mathews Vogt and her husband Scott; her cherished grandchildren, Timothy Mathews, Nicholas Vogt, and Brandie Hartzell; and her beloved sister, Sally Sturtz.
