On February 1, 2015, Patrick O. Prendergast of Glen Burnie, passed away at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Hanorah and Anthony Prendergast and then served his country proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. Patrick earned his Bachelors of Science Degree and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and went on to work as an electrical engineer at the David Taylor Naval Research Center in Annapolis. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and gadgets as well as amateur radio.
Patrick is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Margaret M. Prendergast; his beloved children, Patrick Prendergast, Jr., Kathy Ensey, John Prendergast, Tim Prendergast, Mary Frances Crossan, and Michael Prendergast; fifteen cherished grandchildren; and his dear sister, Sr. Maura Prendergast. He was predeceased by his loving daughter, Maureen Prendergast.
