Patty Ford

Patty Ann Ford, 60, of Severn, passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 2, 2023, at the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She was born at Fort Meade, Maryland, on June 21, 1962, to the late Inge Maria Igres Ford and Lester John Ford. Patty worked for 20 years in Civil Service before retiring and becoming the caregiver for her mother, Inge. She enjoyed cooking, her family, and sharing the Word of the Gospel.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Terry Grezlik; her brothers, Richard and Edward; her sister, Diane and her life partner Eric Mumma; her niece Patty Ann Ford of El Paso, Texas; her nephews Peter “PJ” Ford Jr. of El Paso, Texas, and Jose Raymond Ford of San Antonio, Texas; step-daughter Tiffany Hatfield and husband, David Hatfield, grandsons Jeremy Grezlik, Tyler Grezlik, granddaughter Ashley Hatfield; step-daughter Amy Sopata and Husband Erick, granddaughters Mya and Aleah Sopata, and grandson Erick Sopata Jr.; grand nieces and nephews; and great-grandchildren.  Patty was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Peter Ford.

An internment will be held privately, at a later date, at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
