Paul Michael Biega, 73, a 30 year resident of Millersville, MD died on April 23, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a two year battle with cancer. Paul was born in Ellwood City, PA on September 17, 1937 but he lived in Wampum, PA. He was a graduate of Wampum High School, Class of 1955 and later graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA with a degree in Accounting. Paul worked as an Accountant & Controller at various ARMCO Steel Plants starting at Ambridge, PA. He also worked at plants in Wildwood, FL, Middletown, OH, and Plymouth, MI, ending his career at the Baltimore Plant. After his retirement, Paul became a Fabric Salesman representing many Fabric Companies. He traveled up & down the East Coast and as far west as Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. Paul served six years in the US Army Reserves, was a member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church in Millersville, the Knights of Columbus in Glen Burnie, and the Elks Club in Severn. Paul enjoyed a good game of tennis with his three good buddies, George, "Moose" and George, enjoyed crossword puzzles and challenging Sodoku puzzles, the harder, the better. He also loved jumping in the van, packing a lunch and taking trips with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Victoria Biega Beatrice Pszenny; his in-laws, Jeanette and Sam Ricciuti; and a brother-in-law, Earl J. Cavalier, all in PA. Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana L. Cavalier Biega; three daughters, Dana M. Crouse and Gina M. Biega, both of Millersville and Kelly M. Gastiger of Glen Burnie; two grandchildren, Lindsay N. Crouse and Logan T. Crouse, both of Millersville; two sisters, Carol Franz and her husband Don of Ellwood City, PA and Rita Hammerle and her husband Bruce of Beaver Falls, PA; two brothers, Bernard Biega and his wife Yvonne of Darlington, PA and Charles Beatrice of Wampum, PA; one sister-in-law, Carol Cavalier of Ellwood City, PA many nieces and nephews, plus two special people, Dale Denhard and Thomas Paul.
