Pauline Quinn

October 24, 1916 — August 15, 2009

After an extended illness, loving mother and gentle friend, Pauline Carpenter Quinn passed away at her daughter's home in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. Mrs. Quinn was 92. Raised in Glassport, Pennsylvania, she worked as a mill clerk before moving into defense manufacturing during World War II. Married to Daniel E. Quinn in 1944, she moved to Washington DC, then to Glen Burnie in 1951, where she raised her family. Mrs. Quinn also worked locally for Azar and then 25 years with Sudsville Laundries before retiring at age 79.
Mrs. Quinn enjoyed her service to the public and sharing stories at family gatherings. She is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three nieces, and one nephew.
