Phillip Hair

Phillip Vaughn Hair, 76, of Glen Burnie passed away on Oct. 16, 2018.

Phillip was born in Covington, OK to the late Floyd E. and Mildred E.O. (Phillips) Hair. He was raised in a military family and traveled extensively as a child. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1969. Following the military he begin a long a long career with N.S.A. and was a Computer Scientist. His love for computers and technology made him love the work he did at N.S.A. He attended Syracuse University and graduated from the University of Maryland. While at Syracuse he met Joanne McHale who he married on May 16, 1964. Together they made their home in the Point Pleasant Community and raised their two children. He was a member of the Church of The Good Shepherd. He helped build the church and enjoyed volunteering with the BINGO. He was devoted to his family, faith, and country.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Floyd, Jr. "Jay", Sandi, and Vicky. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne H. Hair; children, Mark Hair (Joey), and Erin Schaible (John, III); grandchildren, Hunter, and Sean Hair, Andrea and Wiley Schaible; siblings, Floy "Tootie" Goudy, and Anthony Weins; numerous nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends.
