Phyllis Catherine Parker (nee Ringrose), 77, a resident of Glen Burnie for 55 years, died January 5 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.She was born July 10, 1933, in Baltimore, to the late Harry Ringrose and Evelyn Ringrose Butz, and was a graduate of Southern High School. She was employed as a bookkeeper with G.C. Murphy for 18 years before retiring in 1986. Phyllis was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a sponsor for RCIA for 10 years. A Baltimore Ravens fan, she also enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, watching soap operas, traveling to Ocean City, and her dog, 'Callie'. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Maurice "Jack" Parker; and stepfather, William Joseph Butz.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Hohman and husband Ronald of Glen Burnie, and Kim Harris and husband Don of Severn; and four grandchildren, Kim Hohman, Katy Harris, Allison Huffman and husband Shane, and Scott Harris.
