On June 30, Ralph Marsteller lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He is the beloved husband of Edna Marsteller (nee Smith) and the loving father of Terry Marsteller and the late Raymond Marsteller. Ralph is the son Woodrow and Dorothy Marsteller of Glen Burnie, both pre-deceased, and the brother of Ethel Marsteller. He is survived by his two nieces, Dotty Holebeck and Gail Helm and by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ralph graduated from the Glen Burnie High School in 1956 and earned a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland in Education. Ralph was a retired Baltimore City school teacher, where he educated, motivated, and inspired teenagers for 30 years. He also managed his family business, Marsteller Brothers & Sons in Brooklyn, Maryland. Ralph was a lover of the Chesapeake Bay and was the Commodore of the Arden Boat Club, in addition to being a master fisherman and crabber. Ralph's gentle ways and easy smile will be missed by everyone who knew him, but by none more than than his loving wife, Edna, of 50 years. Together they formed a team where they accomplished great feats, danced more dances, and shared more happy times than any scrap book or photo album could capture.
