Ramon Munoz

December 21, 1938 — November 25, 2015

Ramon Antonio Munoz "Papi", son of the late Noel and Maria Munoz, was born on December 21, 1938 in Coamo, Puerto Rico. He departed this life on November 25, 2015 due to complications after surgery. He received his education at Coamo High School, graduating in 1958. At the age of 19, he enlisted in the Army, stationed at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. He received an honorable discharge in 1962. Papi met and married Leona Bernadine Ross in March of 1962 and had three beautiful children. Never once did he forget his true calling in life; being a wonderful brother and role model to his younger brothers and sisters, a devoted spouse, and loving father and grandfather. He adored his two great-grandchildren, which he saw as a true blessing. His famous words to his favorite saying to his wife was "Don't ruffle my feathers and I'll love you forever, Amen".
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Leona; three loving children, Angelica Munoz-Kess, Antonio Munoz and Alicia Lipscomb-Munoz; 12 cherished grandchildren and two devoted great-grandchildren.
