Raymond Thomas Williams, Sr.

Raymond Thomas Williams, Sr., 75 of Glen Burnie passed away on October 9, 2024 with his family by his side.  Mr. Williams, better known as “Thomas” was born on December 21, 1948, in Northampton County, North Carolina. 

Thomas lived a life characterized by service and commitment.  He proudly served his country as a Retired US Army Sergeant, participating in both the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm.  His courageous contributions to the military were reflective of his strong character and profound sense of duty, traits that continued to define him throughout his life.  As a dedicated technician for the Department of Defense at ECS-86 Ft. Meade, Thomas applied his skills with unwavering dedication, ensuring the effectiveness and safety of various defense initiatives.  His professional journey was marked by a commitment to excellence and a deep sense of responsibility. 

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Doris L. Williams; his daughter, Shamone Williams (Natasha); his son, Raymond Williams, Jr. (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Julianna Williams, Natalia Williams, Courtney Williams (Josh) and Giuseppi Williams; and his siblings, Michael Williams, Marva Mitchell and Felicia Ellis
