Reginald Swanson

Reginald Stephen Swanson, 75 of Millersville passed away on March 6, 2022. Reggie was born on August 26, 1946 in Portland, Maine. He graduated from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and enjoyed staying active in their alumni events. He enjoyed the game of baseball and he umpired and coached youth baseball in Washington, DC. He was also an avid Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed attending St. Philip Neri Church and his small group church family.

Reggie is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Joyce A. Swanson; his daughter, Donna Swanson; his step children, Dawn Wilcox and Richard Reightler; and his brother, Woodrow Swanson, Jr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Reggie was preceded in death by his son, Roy Swanson.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, March 10th from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Linthicum, MD on Friday, March 11th at 10 AM.
