Richard Franklin Dolin of Linthicum, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Richard was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 29, 1954. He was a 1973 graduate of Andover High School and went on later to earn his Associates Degree from the Community College of Baltimore County.
Richard was a faithful member of Church of Christ in Glen Burnie for more than 50 years. He retired as a journeyman machinist from Kaydon Corporation in 2018. Richard enjoyed riding old trains and his John Deere tractor. He also enjoyed trips to the gun range with his son. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Connie Shilow Dolin, son Benjamin Dolin, daughter Melissa Dolin Watkins, mother Alma Azmon Dolin, sister Nancy Dolin, and his grandchildren, Angela, Alex, Adam Watkins. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Freeman Dolin.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, April 23rd, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 10 AM, inside the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow and will be at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville.
