Richard Leinheiser

Richard P. Leinheiser, 99, of Severna Park, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on November 15, 2016. He was born in Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Mary Leinheiser. He retired from DuPont after over 40 years of service and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor M. Leinheiser; siblings, Paul Leinheiser, Robert Leinheiser and Mildred O'Riley.
He is survived by his children, Karen Scheel, Thomas Leinheiser and Stephen Leinheiser; grandchildren, Anna Leinheiser, Jennifer Peacock and her husband Ryan, and David Scheel; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Maxwell, Abigail and Nathan Peacock; and his sister, Mary Jane Sevier. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Phillip Scheel and daughter-in-law, Liz Leinheiser.

Inurnment will be held on Monday, Dec. 12th, at All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, DE at 10:30.
