Richard Lyons Sr

On April 4, 2012, Mr. Richard L. Lyons, Sr. passed away at his house in Ocean Pines, MD. Mr. Lyons was born in Cambridge, MD on February 16, 1946. He was a Vietnam combat veteran and received a Paratrooper's Badge, Combat Infantryman's Badge, and a Purple Heart, serving his country. Richard worked as a Union Boilermaker in Baltimore before retiring. He enjoyed playing golf and the beach.
He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Lyons-Schmidt and her husband Colby; his grandchildren, Alayna Lyons, Ryleigh Schmidt, and Garrett "Roscoe" Schmidt; two sisters, Julie and Sherry; and two brothers, Jerry and Stoney. Mr. Lyons was predeceased by his son Ricky Lyons, Jr.
