Richard Mech, Sr

Richard W. Mech, Sr., 64, a resident of Glen Burnie for 13 years, died on June 4, 2011. He was born in Baltimore, MD on March 30, 1947 to the late Everett and Alice Mech. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Richard enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles - he was mechanically inclined, loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, drag racing, fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Everett J. Mech, Jr. and Howard G. Mech. He is survived by his wife of five years, Linda K. Mech; two sons, Richard W. Mech, Jr. and William Mech; one daughter, Heather Mech-Suter; two stepsons, Thomas S. Fox, II and Kyle B. Fox; four siblings, Susan Suter, Sandra Klein, John Mech, Sr. and Craig Mech, Sr.; eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
