Richard Poteet

Richard Allen Poteet, 65, passed away at his home on November 3, 2017. He was born in Baltimore to the late Henry Joseph and Marjorie Poteet. He retired from Anne Arundel County Public Works after many years. He enjoyed good food, antiquing, gardening, travelling and spending time with his friends.
Richard is survived by his brother, Joseph H. Poteet and wife, Tracie of Hagerstown; nephew, Joseph W. Poteet of Sumerduck, VA; nieces, Lisa Amaya of News Bern, NC, Erin Simmons of Middle River and their families. He will also be missed by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Friday, Nov. 10th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel.
