Robert Cooper

On August 12, 2009, Robert (Bob) Cooper of Glen Burnie. Beloved husband of June Cooper (nee Teague); loving father of Ronald H. Cooper and his wife Janice of Millersville; Cyndi J. Cooper of Wilmington, De., and Wendy C. Mulligan and her husband William of Darien, CT.; devoted granfather of Christopher and Kara Cooper of Millersville, Brianna, Ryan, and Spencer Mulligan of Darien, CT.; cherished great-grandfather of Isabella Cooper-Burnham of Millersville; dear brother of Anne Whitaker of Audubon, NJ. Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Nelson, Edith Beeson, and brothers, Jack and Edward Cooper. Bob was a WWII veteran, serving in the Navy on the USS Caliente in the Asiatic-Pacific campaign from 1942-1946. He was employed by both Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford, CT, and Boeing Vertol of Philadelphia, PA, in the Experimental Flight Test Divisions, often participating in tests at Patuxent River Naval Air Test Center in Lexington Park, MD.
