Robert Cowen

On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, Robert Irven Cowen passed away in his home. He was predeceased by his cherished wife of 43 years, Helen Louise Cowen. Robert is survived by his loving sons, Jeffery & Jim Cowen, and his beloved grandchildren, Justin, Brandon & Meghan Cowen. He is also survived by his dear sister, Gloria Cowen and his loving companion, Dot Moore.
Robert was born in Baltimore to Irven & Mary Cowen. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946-1948. Robert was a general supervisor for BGE for 41 years. He was a member of the Andover Pool and was an avid tennis player, enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and going out to dinner with his companion.
