Robert Kelly

Robert Eugene Kelly, 91, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 3, 2020. He was born in Maryland to the late Jesse and Mary Kelly. Robert was a devoted member of Arlington Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, loved politics, and an avid MD sports fan. He was a former baseball player for the Boston Braves in the 1940’s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn; dear brothers, Danny and Emory Kelly; and caring brothers-in-law, Walter Georg and Brantley Gent.

Robert is survived by his devoted children, Denise Hesson and her husband, Richard, Darryl Kelly and his wife, Katrina, Sherry Andes and her husband, Ron, Deborah Barnes and her husband, Kevin; cherished grandchildren, Rachel Champion and her husband, Dave, Megan Elrabadi and her husband, Wesam, Samantha Kelly, Jenna Kelly, Justin Andes and his wife, Blaire, Ryan Andes, Stephanie Layden and her husband, Mike, Kelly Smith and her husband, Kennie; loving great-grandchildren, Sarah, Aaron and Daniel Champion, Miles and Ramona Elrabadi, Oliver and Tyler Andes, Taylor, Conner and Luke Layden, Colby, Carsyn and Camryn Smith; and dear sisters, Rose Georg and Fay Gent. Robert will also be missed by Richard Hesson’s sons, Greg and his wife, Keri, Warren and his wife, Andrea, and their children, Pyper and Lorelai; and sisters-in-law, Darlene Kelly, Shirley Freeze and her husband, Larry and Norma Barnes.

In light of the recent coronavirus and the Governor's guidelines set forth on gatherings, we are limiting all visitations to immediate family members only and no more than 10 people will be allowed to gather in the funeral home at one time.  This mandated law will be strictly enforced.
