On May 28, 2018, ROBERT FRANKLIN FALL, 96, of Millersville, passed away at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on November 11, 1921, in Lemoore, California, to the late Acy and Bessie (Taylor) Fall. He served our country proudly in the United States Navy as a Chief Communications Technician for over 20 years. While in the Navy, Robert took dance classes and met Aurora Gonzalez. She became his dance partner for life when they married on March 3, 1956. After his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Robert went on to work at N.S.A. for over 20 years, and then after his retirement from N.S.A., he went on to work for Sam's Club for 20 years. He also owned and operated a Day Care with his wife, Aurora. Intertwined in his working careers, Robert volunteered with Red Cross, was a member of the Optimist Club, and worshipped at the Ft. Meade Post Chapel Center. He enjoyed square dancing with Aurora, flower arranging at Peaceful Blossoms, gardening, and he had a great sense of humor he shared with everyone he met. Robert will be forever remembered as a man that always took pride in everything he did.
Robert was predeceased by his devoted wife of 61 years, Aurora Fall; his parents Acy and Bessie Fall; his daughter, Rhonda Ellen Anderson; his sister, Marjorie E. Topel; and his son-in-law, Michael Hoerst. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Rebecca Renee Hoerst, Rowena Elaine Fall, Rosalie Elise Wall (Michael), Regina Elizabeth Moreno (Ramiro); and his cherished grandchildren, Gregory Hoerst, Christina Fall, Robert Righter, Jeremy Anderson (Meghan), Mary Roberts, Cassandra Anderson (Zuzanna Sarna), Matthew Wall, Megan Wall, Jennifer Wall, Andrew Wall, Kyle Fall, Cristian Moreno, Jordan Moreno, and Julia Moreno.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, May 31st, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 1st, at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
