On May 4, 2019, Robert Ellis Fowler “Bob”, 78, passed away at Chesapeake Future Care in Arnold, Maryland. Bob was born on May 29, 1940, in Alexandria, Virginia, to the late Margaret and Robert Fowler. He served his country proudly in the United States Army as a PFC from 1963-1966. Bob then went on to work at Baltimore Aircoil Company as a technician/fabricator. He was a member of the American Legion and Masons. Bob enjoyed collecting many things, cars, and he loved music. He was known for his generosity.
Bob is survived by his beloved siblings, Kathryn A. Sousa of Glen Burnie, Maryland, David E. Fowler of Peru, Indiana, and Karen J. Fowler of Millersville, Maryland; his loving nephews, Vernon and Vickie Sousa, Brian Sousa, and James and Melissa Fowler; and his cherished great-nieces & great-nephews, Kelsey, Tyler, Megan and Julia. Bob was predeceased by his dear brother, Edward M. Fowler.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 2 PM, to honor Bob. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org OR St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjude.org OR Boys Town at www.boystown.org.
