On February 13, 2013 Robert M. Helinski, 81, a resident of Glen Burnie for 42 years, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, MD on May 25, 1931 to the late George and Marie Helinski. Robert served in the United States Navy from 1951-1955. He was employed with Alco Gravure-Quebecor Printing Company and retired in 1992 after many years of service. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Holy Trinity Chapter and former president of Local 31N GCIU. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ravens and Western movies, horse racing and playing the slots. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two siblings, George Helinski and Bernadette Starrs. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary; four children, Donna Helwich and husband Michael, Mary Jo Smith and husband Sean, Robert L. Helinski and Kevin G. Helinski and wife Michele; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jerome and Donald Helinski.
