Robert Humphrey

Robert Leroy Humphrey, a resident of Linthicum for over 50 years, passed away at his home on August 28, 2014. He was born on July 12, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late Mathew and Gladys Humphrey. He served our country proudly in the Navy and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor degree in science. Bob was employed as an engineer with Western Electric for over 30 years and was a member of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Severn. He enjoyed magic tricks, sports, especially University of Miami football and was a great handyman.

He is survived by his son, Robert D. Humphrey and his wife Julie; two grandchildren, Jennifer L. Humphrey and Nicholas T. Humphrey; and two sisters, Betty Jane Bowers and Joan Glenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; one grandson, Colin D. Humphrey; and two brothers, James and Richard Humphrey.
