Robert Kelly

Robert Thomas Kelly, 84, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 28, 2014. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Rose and Thomas Kelly. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class in England during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning stateside, Bob went to work for Proctor Silex in Chicago as an accountant and then transferred to Maryland in 1969. He then went to work for ALMO Distributing as an accountant in 1977 and retired in 1996. Bob enjoyed refereeing youth football, coaching little league, bowling, and traveling. He was also an avid baseball fan, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Kathleen M. Kelly; his beloved sons, David R. Kelly and wife Catherine, and Steven M. Kelly; his cherished grandchildren, Andrew S. Kelly and Melissa A. Kelly; and his dear siblings, Delores Vetsch and Thomas Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his sister, Patricia Brill.
