Robert Knott, Sr

Robert "Bob" Charles Knott, Sr. passed away at his home in Crownsville, MD on July 13, 2009. He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and Mary Knott in 1925. Bob served in the US Army as a Sergeant and an ambulance driver in WWII. He worked for the Walter Kidde Company and the Walters Art Gallery. Bob was a member of the Glen Burnie Elks and the American Legion. He liked to build things, including his own house. He loved his grandchildren & animals. Mr. Knott is survived by his wife of 61 years, Regina L. Knott; he is the devoted father of Donna M. Wheeler and Bob C. Knott, Jr.; dear brother of Raymond W. Knott; he is also survived by two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
