Robert Krecher

In September of 2006, Robert Andrew Krecher passed on. Robert was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Geraldine Krecher; his sons, Kirk Krecher and Irwin Zerrlaut; his dear daughters, Linda Gottleib, Brenda McPherson, Stacey Hunt and Robin Smith; his sisters, Ruth Oursler and Helen Newell; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert A. Krecher, Jr., and his sisters, Naomi Owens and Mildred Miller. Robert was a native of Maryland. He was with the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He then worked as an electrician for Maryland Ship Building & Drydock for over 31 years. Robert enjoyed many hobbies which included hunting, bowling and shooting pool. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
