Robert Rainier, Sr

Robert Martin Rainier, Sr., 78, of Glen Burnie passed away on January 23, 2017. Martin was born on October 25, 1938 in Mathews, Virginia to the late Harold M. and Mabel H. Rainier. Martin was a truck driver for Johnson Transfer and Teamsters #311. He enjoyed boating, going to the casino's, taking care of his cars and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Along with parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary JoAnn Davis Rainier and his second wife, Janet Rainier; and his brother, Harold M. Rainer, Jr. Martin is survived by his children, Linda A. Odham, Robert M. Rainier, Jr., Lawrence W. Rainier and Cindy L. Smith and her husband, Lee; his sister, Janet R. Deagle; his grandchildren, Stephanie A. Boyd, Stacy L. Rainier, Amy S. Ward, Robert M. Rainier, III, Justin T. Rainier and Brandon L. Smith; his great-grandchildren, Emily L. Helsel, Hailey Helsel, Tyler J. Ward, Blake W. Ward and Lexi J. Helsel.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Morgan presiding. Interment Glen Haven Mem. Park.
