Robert Ringgold, Jr

On September 15, 2008, Robert "Bob" Ringgold, Jr. of Catonsville. Beloved husband of Tillie Ringgold; loving father of Robert L. Ringgold, III, Charlene M. Dudley and her husband, Ron, Timothy J. Ringgold, Vincent L. Ringgold and his wife Janet; cherished grandfather of four; devoted great-grandfather of two; and dear brother of Marian Akonom and the late Vivian Cartwright. He was born in Baltimore, MD in 1925. He graduated from High School in South Baltimore. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and later was employed by U.S.P.S for 29 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Charlestown and the VFW in Delaware. He enjoyed many hobbies including golfing. He also loved eating, especially steamed crabs.
