Robert Stoffel

Mr. Robert "Bob" Stoffel, 74, of Millersville, Maryland passed away on May 24, 2010 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness. Bob was born in Massachusetts in 1936. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School where he was known as a "stand out" basketball player. Bob served in the US Army for 6 years back in the late 1950's. Thereafter, he was a self employed master plumber for 40 years. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose and also the Glen Burnie American Legion. His hobbies included spending time with family and friends, coaching basketball, cooking and boating. He was the devoted father of Mike Stoffel, Mickey Konig, Patti Chenoweth, and Robin Iffland; dear brother of Glynn Stoffel and the late Bill Stoffel; loving grandfather of 16. He was also survived by LaVerne Stoffel and was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Doris Stoffel.
