Roger Mayne

Roger T. Mayne, 88, of Glen Burnie passed away on December 11, 2014. Roger was born in 1926 in Ellicott City, MD. He served in the US Navy from 1944-1946, where he was stationed on the US.S. LST 565. Roger was later self-employed as the Owner and Operator of Roger's Auto Glass in Baltimore. He enjoyed reading the morning newspaper, going for car rides, feeding the birds outside and mostly spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger loved animals, especially Jake, his pet bird who died just 2 weeks prior to his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mayne; and his brother, Frank Mayne. He is survived by two children, Joseph Mayne and his wife Theresa, and Nancy Henderson and her husband Richard; three grandchildren, Casey Leyva and her husband Steven, Victor Henderson and his wife Nicole, and Daniel Mayne and his wife Denise; two great-grandchildren; and seven siblings, Marie, Helen, George, Lorraine, Judy, Evelyn and Geraldine.
