Roma Goetz

Roma W. Goetz(nee Wengert), 95 of Glen Burnie, passed away at her residence on January 18, 2018. Roma was born on Sept. 10, 1922 in Baltimore. Roma did Clerical work for years and finished her career at the MVA. She enjoyed growing things. Her family was number one in her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered for her love, generosity and gentle spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Kenneth Goetz; her parents; and 7 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Roma Alascio; her grandchildren, Mark Alascio, Lynn Fisher(Patrick) and Anthony Alascio; her great grandchildren, Patrick, II(Carly), Samantha, Courtney, Victoria, Nicolas and Ryan; great-great grandchildren, Russell and Abel.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Mon., Jan. 22nd, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tues., Jan. 23rd, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
