Ronald Stone

Ronald R. Stone, 63 of Glen Burnie passed away suddenly on September 19, 2018 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Ronald was born on December 15, 1954 at home in Glen Burnie to the late Mary Ruth (Harmon) and John Hertle Stone. Ron begin working early in his life and cultivated a strong ethic that followed him throughout his life. Ron worked as a Yard Manager for Royal Lumber Company in Glen Burnie for over 20 years. He also worked for Garman Brothers in Millersville. Ron enjoyed tinkering, and was excellent at the restoration of classic cars. He also enjoyed drag racing. However family was the most important thing in his life. He was devoted to caring for his family and helping anyone that was in need. His legacy is that of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandchild, Trae Burnopp.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Sally Stone; children, Angel Burnopp(Bill), Nicole Chapman(Steven), and Hope Walker; grandchildren, Shaianne Burnopp, Heavyn Chapman, Bradley Waddell, Izaeh Chapman; brothers, Billy and John Stone; and his sister; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, Sept.23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, Sept. 24th at 10 AM.
