Ronald Watts

Ronald W. Watts, 80, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on October 6, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born in Glen Burnie, MD on April 7, 1932 to the late Marion and Beatrice Watts. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, music, photography, archery, reading, puzzles, computer games and in his earlier years playing softball. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joanna; two daughters, Karen Romeo and husband Paul and Jacqueline Kyle and husband Jack; three grandchildren, Lauren, Katherine and Alexander; and one brother, Kenneth Watts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beatrice Burkholder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway; Annapolis, MD 21401.
