Rosalee Gerhardt

Mrs. Rosalee "Rita" Gerhardt, 87, of Chicago, IL, formerly a resident of Ferndale for 50 years, passed away on May 26, 2010 at her daughters home. Rita was born in Davis, WV in 1923 to the late Albert and Cora Helmick. She was a bookkeeper for a painting company. Rita served in the US Army from 1943-1946. She was a member of the VFW Post 2916 in Curtis Bay. Her hobbies included gardening and spending time with her poodles. She was the beloved wife of 48 years of the late Robert Gerhardt; devoted mother of Deborah White, Pamela (Hall) Ford, Ronald Hall, Robin Wong, Kimberly Tolson and the late George E. Hall, III; loving grandmother of 6.
