Rosalie Francis Magaha, 81, of Dagsboro, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, August 26th 2021. Rosalie was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 5th 1939 to the late Joseph and Erma Bowen. Rosalie was known for her love of cooking, sewing, home decorating and flower arranging. She had an amazing talent at training and grooming dogs, gardening and taking great pride in the care of her husband, family and home. Most of her free time was spent reading and doing crossword puzzles. Rosalie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Tammy N. Zhang (Peter Plourd), her sisters, Linda Hanson, Juanita Hopkins, and her grandchildren, Julian and Hunter Zhang. In addition to her parents, Rosalie is preceded in death by her son, Michael Magaha, her husband, George Magaha, Jr. and siblings, Dolores Gill and Donald Bowen.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, August 31st from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, September 1st at 12:15 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
