Rose Ford

Rose Ford, 76, of Severn, passed away on Feb. 27, 2018 at home with her family at her side.
Rose was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA the only child to the late Joseph J. and Helen M. (Joyce) Danko. She was born into a Military family and traveled extensively throughout her childhood. She graduated from High School in Germany. Once stateside the family eventually settled in Severn. She met Samuel Ford at Ft. Meade and the two were married on Aug. 10, 1963. After getting married Rose became a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and pouring her love into raising her two sons. She loved her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them creating many memories. She was a former member of the V.F.W ladies Auxiliary. Rose was an outgoing person and strangers soon became friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish precious memories her husband, Sam Ford; sons, Scott Ford (Marichu), and Joseph Ford (Diane); grandchildren, Scott Ford, Jr., and Kelli Ford.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW, (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, on Mon., March 5, 1 P.M for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel. The family also invites you to join them for a celebration at the Ferndale Community Club following the memorial service.
