Rose Theresa Hutchison

Rose Theresa Hutchison, 93, passed away in Pasadena, Maryland on the evening of Friday, July 12th, surrounded by family. Rose was born December 7th, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rena Famularo; daughter, Diana Hart; and siblings, Joe and Sarah.  

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Virgil; son, Ronald; sisters, Angelina and Andrea; grandchildren, Ginna (Mike), Jonathan (Lashea), Calvin (Jaymee), and Colin; great-grandchildren, Mason, Ainsley, Dillon, Benjamin, and Alexander.

She worked as a beautician, working in salons around Maryland for a number of years, eventually owning her own beauty shop, Fortress in Baltimore, until retirement.  

Rose loved watching the Baltimore Orioles and spending time with her family, comprised of many generations, making her loved ones the best apple pie they ever ate. 

She was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church for 17 years. 

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 2nd Avenue, SW ( at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E. Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 at 10:00 am. Her Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD
