Rose Napier

February 12, 1915 — June 22, 2009

On June 22, 2009, Rose Anna Napier, a life long resident of Millersville. Beloved wife of the late Elvin Napier; loving mother of Rosalie Adams and husband "Bunk", James R. Napier and wife Anne; cherished grandmother of 10; devoted great grandmother of 21; caring great great grandmother of two; dear sister of James R. Wood and wife Anne, and Lou Bohle; mother-in-law of Judy Wise and husband Dave. Rose was preceded in death by two sons, Elvin Leroy Napier and Ronald J. Napier; and several brothers and sisters. She was born at home in Millersville to the late John and Mary Wood. She worked as a seamstress for a few years, then became a full time homemaker. She belonged to the Glen Burnie 7th Day Adventist Church. Rose greatly enjoyed walks, gardening, family, friends, and church parties, Sabbath school, crossword puzzles, reading her Bible, being outdoors, and her pets.
