Rose Truitt

On July 2, 2009, Rose Truitt of Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of the late Howard Clifton Truitt, Sr.; loving mother of Howard C. Truitt, Jr.; dear step-mother of Jacqueline Helen Truitt and Patricia Von Den Bosch; cherished grandmother of 10; devoted great grandmother of 17; caring great-great grandmother of eight; dear sister of John Chaney. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mae Turner, Benjaman Chaney, Nicholas Chaney, and Elwood Chaney. Rose was born and raised in Gambrills, Maryland. She graduated from Arundel High School in 1930. After graduating high school, she attended college and studied nursing. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in 1930 at West Baltimore General Hospital; she retired after 40 years. She was active with Meals on Wheels and Glen Burnie United Methodist Church.
