Roy Kingsland Pearsall, 79, of Glen Burnie passed away on May 21, 2014. Roy was born in 1934 in Red Bank, NJ to the late Jessie and Joseph Pearsall. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1955 as an Electronic Technician (ET2). Roy worked for Litton Industries, then started his own company, Electronic Simulations Systems and then went on to work at Social Security Administration for 20 years as a computer analyst. He was a longtime member of the Chesapeake Yacht Club, a member of the American Legion Post 40, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and NARFE. Roy enjoyed ham radio, boating, fishing, woodworking, collecting military memorabilia, and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Roy is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Patricia L. Pearsall; his loving children, Carol Mattingly and husband John, and son, Wesley Pearsall and wife Colleen; his dear step-daughter, Nicole Wehn and husband John; and his eight cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Pearsall, Sr.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made in Roy's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Ste. 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.
