Ruby Nelson

On December 16, 2010, RUBY C. NELSON of Havre De Grace, formerly of Odenton. Beloved wife of 44 years to the late Thomas B. Nelson; devoted mother of Gwen Walters and husband John, Lavonne West and husband Jay, and Brenda Nelson; loving grandmother of Chris Walters, Robert Walters, Robin Chittum, and Jayne Head; cherished great-grandmother of Autumn Cope, Ashley Quall, and Grayson Head; dear great-great-grandmother of three. She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Charles Alan Head, five brothers, and three sisters. Ruby retired from civil service at Fort Meade and was a member of Nichols Bethel Church. She greatly enjoyed quilting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
