On September 7, 2018, Rudolph Richard Steinbock "Rudy," 83, passed away. Rudy was born on April 4, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Margaret and George Steinbock. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and then went on to be a systems analyst for the State of Maryland at the Department of Motor Vehicles for 28 years. He was a member of the Masons - Corinthian Lodge in Towson, the Elks Lodge, and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football, playing basketball in high school, traveling, and reading. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Rudy is survived by his devoted wife of 59 and a half years, Margy E. Steinbock; his loving twin daughters, Margaret Browne and Patricia Harrington; his cherished granddaughter, Autumn Harrington; his dear brother, George Steinbock and his wife, Sandy; his nieces, Susan (Joe) Rowe and Kathy Steinbock, and nephew, Craig (Kari) Steinbock.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, September 11th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 12th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions in Rudy's name may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County at www.aaspca.org.
