Ruth Ecklund

On March 2, 2008, Ruth C. Ecklund passed on. Ruth was dearly loved by her loving husband of 57 years, Lawrence Ecklund; her beautiful daughter, Linda Susan Foehrkolb; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell and Amanda Susan Bilenki; four dear great-grandchildren; her loving sisters, Beatrice Dorsey, Kathleen Danielson and Patricia Shaffer; and her late brothers, Leonard, Paul and William Hagen. Ruth was born in Maryland in 1927. She was a graduate of Southern High School. She was a career Service Representative for C&P and worked in the calling department. Ruth was a member of St. Athanasius Church. She enjoyed many hobbies including day trips. She was a woman who enjoyed keeping up her home. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Ruth was a loving woman who will be missed by many.
