Ruth Lowe

On March 24, 2009, Beloved wife of the late James D. Lowe, loving mother of Patricia Wilson, Carol Jamies, and Francis Hissy, Jr., devoted grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 13 and great great grandmother of 5. Mrs. Lowe was born in Leesburg, VA on February 22, 1915 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cooper. She started work for the social security administration in 1951 as a clerk and retired in 1977 as a manager. In her spare time Ruth volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Girl Scouts, Partners in Care, and Operation Life Line. She enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines, gardening, neddlework, and crossword and jigsaw puzzles
